Does Win2K have a restore feature?

I seem to remember a version of Windows having a feature
that would restore everything to your last configuration
before reboot.

Does Win2K have this? If so, how do I utilize it? If
not, is there anyway to restore accidenteally deleted
information that is not in the recycle bin?

I think you are referring to System Restore in Windows XP. Windows 2000
does not have that functionality. You can check the Internet for undelete
programs for Windows 2000.

I think you are referring to System Restore in Windows XP.

Also it was in Windows ME.

There are two programs that will do this, Norton Go-Back

which will allow you to return to a previous configuration and Norton
Ghost

<http://www.symantec.com/sabu/ghost/ghost_personal/>

which allow you to replace the drive image with a previous one.

There are probably more but these are the ones that may be the most
common.

He/she may possibily be referring to "Last Known Good". But that's no
use if the boot succeeded, of course.
