Does Snap to Grid work ?

Access XP 02

Whether i switch snap to grid on or off makes absolutely no diff
Doesn't matter what i set GridX & GridY to - makes no diff

I know about the alignment controls but it doesn't help much

Aligning controls on busy form is a total nightmare (taking me longer than
the programming - which is crazy)

if anyone has ever got snap-to-grid to work at all then please post -
otherwise i'll assume it's just another bug and M/Soft put it on the menu
just for show, along with picture compression in Word

If snap-to-grid works in XP 2003 i will buy it tomorrow

You could go to the Google Groups advanced search page,

http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search

and use search for that subject within the last few days in the groups
"microsoft.public.access.*".
