Does Office 2007 have auto fill?

In Word 2000, when I started typing something in my Auto Text, I could type
the first 3 or 4 characters, hit "Return" and it would complete the text. I
cannot find how to do it in Word 2007.

Alas... Word 2007 has AutoComplete *only* for dates. AutoText is now folded
into the Building Blocks feature, and any given AutoText or Building Block
entry can be expanded (as previously) by typing a sufficient portion and
pressing F3. But, AutoComplete -- which many of us found so useful -- is
gone (for now, at least... I'm hoping it returns).

In the meantime... AutoCorrect continues to work as it did. There are 3rd
party add-ins that provide AutoText functionality, I understand, but I
haven't used any of them... and don't particularly want to make the
investment.

WHY doesnt MS have a complaint line? Why is it such a gigantic company that
refuses to listen to the customer? Why do these "programmers" think they know
more then the CUSTOMER and what they want? Why the VP's so arrogant to allow
such a corporate culture???

To remove the Auto Text/Complete feature is absurd and MS should be ashamed
of themselves for thinking this was an "upgrade" by going thru 7 sub-levels
just to create the Auto Replace item and THEN having to hit F3 just to get
the function to work (instead of hitting enter).

Help Menu> Send Feedback in prior versions, explore the Office (Pizza)
button menu in 2007... Believe it or not, MS does listen but only to those
who express their opinion through the appropriate channels... of which this
user forum is not one.
