I have Windows XP home edition on my laptop which was
installed at Best Buy in Nov, 03. My computer will not
save any passwords, user IDs, etc. and it does not
autocomplete. I have to access websites with passwords
at least thirty times a day and am constantly typing in
passwords and IDs. I took my computer to a techie and he
couldn't figure it out either. Please help! Thanks

This fix applies to Outlook and other programs that store passwords
in the Protected Storage System Provider sub-branch of the Registry.
It also corrects some issues with Internet Explorer and Autocomplete.
