Does .Net ADO work on Windows NT?

I'm trying to run an application written in VB .Net on a
Windows NT 4.0 (service pack 6a) workstation. The
application is referencing .Net ADO. This reference
causes the application to crash. Is this a known problem
and is there any workaround for it? Thank you.

Yes, it works. You will have to narrow the problem.

Did you install the .Net Framework??? This is required for .Net apps to run.
