Does MSAS detects spyware (cookies)?

I have an antispyware from CA called eTrust Pest Patrol and with that I
always detect some tracking cookies in my system during a quick scan (it
takes 10 sec.). After I detected 7 different pests with Pest Patrol, I tried
with MSAS and didn't detect anything. The question is: does MSAS detects
those tracking cookies or not? It those cookies are not spyware - what is?

Hi Digitron.

Microsoft Antispyware does not scan for or selectively detect cookies.
There has been a single cookie detection in the course of the beta, and that
was apparently a false positive.
