I didn't know anything worked on ME. Actually, I don't think ME ever
"worked".

No, it does not work on Windows ME, only Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003.

for best practices. Be sure to watch the video!
There are other freeware/shareware scanners out there that will work on
Win98 & ME
systems. Thinking Spybot and Adaware just to name two.
