Does changing file name cases mess up my system?

Hi
I have downloaded a file case changing program and inadvertently it changed
some different names than the ones it was intended to change, I had it set
to change to lower case, and am not sure which ones it changed. Could this
harm my system do you know?

The software was called "change case" and is easy to use (almost) :)

WinXP, as well as all other Windows, is absolutely indifferent to the
case of the letters in the names of files.
