Does anyone know how to automate the Windows XP File and Transfer Settings
Wizard? I want to make an automatic backup of my profile every night to a
secondary drive I have on my PC.

If you are looking to backup your profile, I don't think the Files and
Settings Transfer Wizard is what you want. Use the NTBackup (Start >> All
Programs >> Accessories >> System). Backup up the System State and the
Documents and Settings folder (specifically the NTUser.dat file in your
profile but do the entire folder) and what other files you want to. But,
the System State and D&S folder essentially hold everything necessary to
restore your profile. You will be able to schedule NTBackup to run whenever
you want.

If you are using XP Home then NTBackup is not automatically loaded, you will
have to load it manually. Here is the Micrsoft article that will walk you
through the process:

Hope this helps.

Combine the use of task scheduler and xcopy. This will achive your
goal.
