Yes, I have this sample database.
Can't post it, but if you send me a private e-mail message with a valid
return address, I will send you a copy.

I would think that if the authors wanted to make it publicly available,
they'd do so via a website.

Hi Joan,

You're probably right. However, anyone who knows about the sample database
that came with a specific book most likely owns a copy of the book. It's
fairly easy to lose the CD that comes with a book, or it becomes damaged such
that it cannot be read. I once loaned one of my Access books, with CD, to a
student when I was teaching an Access course. I got the book back, but he had
accidently lost the CD.

This particular sample database is not a spectacular application chock full
of fancy code. My offer stands to the OP.

Your call, but I think you're assuming a lot.

Thanks Brendan,

I didn't see that download, since it is offered for the Access 2002 version
of this book. The OP had asked about the Access 2000 version, which is the
version that I have in my library. This sample is probably pretty much the
same, however, I note that the 2002 version has several additional authors.

For whatever it may be worth, the Icecream.mdb file for the Access 2002
edition of the book is available online at ...
