Does anyone know of any image/media organizer/indexer/viewer
programs that allow you to click on a thumbnail and open the
image with an external viewer, like Irfanview?

Irfanview itself ? Open Irfanview, press the 't' on your keyboard to go to
thumbnails.

No problems for direct links to files, anyway.

Hi Henry,

Thanks for the heads-up.

I've shown the temporary Mole Zone URL on the members page:
http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/acf/Members.php

I've revised the Mole Zone links on the ACF program information pages (I
think your links on the Pricelessware pages are direct links to files).

Let me know when you're "back home" and I'll revise the pages again.

Kindly regards.

Thanks for putting 3.4.1 there. I needed to update my copy. Bye the
way, perhaps you and/or someone else here can tell me why printing is
so terrible with FotoAlbum ? The quality is terrible. I cannot work
out why. I even saved files in a number of different formats and it
made no difference. These are high quality files that look great in
Irfanview.

There may be a way to display/print good quality pics (particularly as
a kind of proof sheet, which is what I want) but I couldn't find where
to change the quality of the image settings.

My files look (size/quality) something like jpegs saved at 10%
size/quality. Not 100% . :-(

Has anyone managed to get top quality printing from 3.4.1 ? If so then
where/how did you change things please ?

Regards, John.

I seldom print photos, don't think I've *ever* printed one from
FotoAlbum. Have you looked at FotoAlbum's help file? There's a section
on printing problems - evidently you're not the only sufferer.

Thanks for pointing that out Susan. I will check that out.
