Documents not available when opened

When I try to open a saved document in ether word or excel it says it's not
available, in excel a message comes up saying "This file cannot be opened
because your virus scanner has detected a problem with the file" but this
happens with all files, even ones that I have just saved, I have just
installed Office 2003 on my computer and I have Windows XP and Norton
Antivirus Corporate Edition installed on my computer, help would be much
appreciated.

Search for the OFFICEAV.DLL file on your system (include hidden and system
files/folders) and note the directory path where it is located. Close all
open applications. From Windows, click on Start | Run. In the Open dialog
box, type the command (including quotes):

Regsvr32 -U "C:\<path>\OfficeAV.dll"

Replace <path> with the directory path for your OfficeAV.dll file. Click on
OK. You only have to run this command once (not every time you restart your
computer). You should get the message: "DllUnregisterServer in
C:\<path>\OfficeAV.dll succeeded." Does that work?
