Documents and Settings Properties folder

My friend is running windows xp and has a 40 gig hard drive and in his
documents and properties folder he has files and folders that amount to 39
gigabytes. He is getting disk almost full notices. I only have 8gigs in my
folder. what can I delete in his folder without causing problems.
