Document up & disappeared -- can't find now!? HELP!!!

I was working on a 20-pager in Word, and was saving it every 5-minutes (although that doesn't help me now, does it). All of a sudden, POOF, the entire page evaporated, and I was taken back to my desktop! I have searched & searched in files, etc., and it doesn't appear to exist any longer! I'm SURE it's on the hard drive somewhere (right? please?) -- how can I find & access it?

Hi,

Try to look for *.wbk these are the back-ups that Word creates.

Go to Start > Run and type 'cmd' (without the quotation marks)
then type: cd\ (press enter)

dir *.wbk /s (press enter) (note the space between the k and the
forward slash)

This should disclose the back-up of the document and the folder where
it is.
