"document recovery" task pane location

I wish to recover a document which I inadvertantly replaced by filing another
document over it. Hel advises that I should use the "Document Recovery" task
pane. I cannot find it. Help.

If there is no backup, you won't be able to recover the file. Do you regularly
back-up the files on your system? Or do you have Word's automatic backup
facility turned on?
