Document Not Saving

I have a document that is very basic. It has one macro that inserts th
date into the tab whenever you type it in. I am having a problem savin
it. Whenever I try it gets right to the end and then says document no
saved. Would anyone know why this is doing this.

I had a similar problem a few years ago... I believe that this was due to a
corrupted file, and I think I solved it by creating a copy of the file under
a different name then deleting the original and renaming the copy back to
the original name.

or I might have opened the original file and copied all the data into a new
workbook and saved it. Cant remember exactly as it was a while ago.
