Document is Wacky

I don't know what is happening to a document someone sent me as an attachment
through e-mail. It's a 2003 Word document it is a table that consists of six
columns and about 300 rows. At the end of the table (outside of the table)
it just says, "Thanks, Bill." When I view it in normal view, it's clear that
it has several pages when I use the vertical scroll bar. When I drag the
scroll bar, the page numbers should change on the yellow tool tip and it
doesn't, it still notes Page: 1. When the document is open, the status bar
notes 1/2. (I guess now it thinks there are 2 pages) When I print preview the
document, the first page is displayed and the "Thanks, Bill." is on page two.
I did a "select all" and then copy and pasted into a new document and the
same think happens with the 2 pages. I even pasted it with paste special
with RTF, word document, etc. and that didn't work. When I paste it as
unformatted text, all the text displays, but that removes my table. Has
anyone ever had this problem before. PLEASE HELP!

Open the document, and click on Format | Columns | One | Apply
to: Whole document | OK. Even if "One" already appears to be
selected, click on it anyway.

The table has probably gotten wrapped. In the table, right-click, choose
Table Properties, and, on the Table tab, make sure text wrapping is set to
None.
