Doc made w/ Template Wizard cannot save

I am trying to create a document using the pleading wizard located under the
legal pleadings in templates. After I've specified the properties of the
document to be made and select "Finish", I get the following error with an
exlamation icon: "Invalid procedure call or argument." Once I proceed, I'm
returned to an option to enter a different save name. Doing so only displays
the same error.

I've used this function before but for no apparent reason, Word just
mysteriously started doing this. I've uninstalled, repaired, reinstalled...
and nothing works. I have to produce documents for the court so this is an
urgent matter; I am in desperate need of someone's help. Please respond.

I'm not sure we'll be able to help, but there's next to nothing we can do
without knowing which version of Word this is?

Hi =?Utf-8?B?UGl0dA==?=,
The version I am using is: Microsoft Word 2003 (11.6502.6408) SP1.
OK. When you see the error message is the "Debug" button in the message box enabled?
Probably not, it appears the template project is locked, and I'm guessing there's a
COM-DLL in the background that's controlling the code.

If this is the case, there's nothing anyone in these groups can do to help you.
There's a problem in the code that's trying to execute (that's clear from the error
message), but there's no way for anyone outside of Microsoft to access the code.

FWIW, the wizard does work here, so there may be something about your installation
that's not allowing the template file to be saved.

1. Are you working in a network environment in a company? Could the IT department
have removed the necessary permissions from the User Template location, so that the
wizard is unable to save to the chosen file path?

2. Do you have problems saving any other kinds of documents?

3. Have you installed any file management or anti-virus software or any other tools
since the last time you used the wizard?

4. If you start Word in SAFE MODE (by holding down CTRL when you start it), can use
successfully use the Wizard?

5. If you boot Windows in Safe Mode, will it work?
