doamin control down

some time when i try to access to domain from winxp station Either by user
account or administrator , it stop and give me this message :
( Windows cannot connect to domain or
Domain control down or
Computer account was not found )
what should i do,

Do you have network connection problems? i mean, check if
you are able to ping the DC and resolve names ....
Then, see if your PC already has its own computer account
added to the Domain.
