Recently IE has taken to asking this when I click on an .asx link.
With the only options to save or cancel.
These streaming webcams used to open WMP and play nicely.
Iv'e been to Folders/Filetypes and .ASXs are opened with WMP OK.
Where else can I look to fix this?

Go back to File Types

Windows Explorer-Tools-Folder Options-File Types
Find the .asx association
Edit, (or click Advanced on ME or XP) and uncheck the "Confirm open
after download" box

Was already unchecked.
It's Windows Security is causing this.
How do I tell Windows Security to leave this ext alone?
