Hello,

And thank you in advance for the help. Using Word 2003; is there a way to
add text to my document (like a note to myself) that will not print?

In other words, I can see the note on my screen, in the place on the
document, without that note printing.

Thanks

Thanks, but that was not the answer. This solutions hides the text
completely. I need to be able to read the text, yet not allow it to print.
Anyone else have the answer.

Press the paragraph button on the tool bar (the backwards "P") what you see
WILL NOT print.

Format the text as Hidden. In Tools > Options, first go to the View
tab and check the box for "Hidden text" to make it visible on screen,
even when the ¶ button is not pressed. Then go to the Print tab and
make sure the box for "Hidden text" there is _not_ checked to prevent
it from printing.
