Do Not Display Last User Problem

I am trying to enable the Do Not Display Last user registry setting both
through Local Security Policy and also through the registry. When I enable
the setting and restart the PC the setting defaults to disabled so the last
user is displayed. I am running Windows Xp SP3 with novell client 4.9 SP4.

Anyone any ideas?
 
If this is Novell's own client, it replaces gina.dll with one of its own.
Result is that many of the logon registry settings no longer apply. Unless
there is a need to run the server-management tools on a workstation, I would
be inclined to use the Microsoft Netware client instead.
 
I think this may be a problem with Xp Sp3 more than the novell client. We had
been running the novell client with XP SP2 fine and could enable the policy
