Save it, get the sign in authorisation and then process the input already
done over multiplr hours due to research! DONT WASTE OUR TIME! How do we
know we have to separately save everything on your discussion boards?
Grrrrrrrr!

Frankly, the web interface to this group makes large vacuums.
Try using a dedicated newsreader program instead. Outlook Express or some
browsers (Opera, for example) are FAR better.

Hi Steve Rindsberg,

I realise that but when I get notification via web mail and I am doing many
others things on the net at the same time it is so much faster and easier to
do it via the web interface where tis best to topic search! The many other
things include research into accurately answering the reply I was instantly
notified of!
I use Microsoft IE7 generally and many other MS products and cannot
understand why MS cannot store the work in progress via a cookie or
something! The fact it's done in a pop up window is probably why it is
irretrievable! I hope you did agree tho' Steve

I can see where the email notification would be very handy.

As to the timeout, I can also understand why that would be frustrating.

OMG it bloody happened again! Lucky I learnt from my mistake and save it
before posting aye Steve.

Hi Steve,

I'm glad you recognized some merit in my suggestion but are you the "1 out
of 1 people found this post helpful" or not?
I will go look at PPT FAQ: www.pptfaq.com and www.pptools.com thanks. lol
I guess I should win lotto and upgrade my version of office XP-pro or 2002
to 2007 now that it has gone past the MS support lifecycle termination date.

If it works for you now and you need to stay compatible with others who haven't
upgraded to 2007, you might want to stay put for a while. I won't tell Bill ...
