I you go to HKEY LOCAL
MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControl\Control\SessionManager\Memor
yManagement in the registry and change the value of
ClearPageFileAtShutdown from 0 to 1, it will clear the
page file at Windows shutdown and when it reboots. DO NOT
DO THIS!!!!! Leave the value at 0. If you change the
value to 1, your reboot and shutdown times will be
greatly lengthened.
This is a responce to the POST on Sept 4th at 6:32pm
which I asked for help about slow reboot and shutdown
times. I also say thanks for the responce that I received
which helped me discover the problem.
