Do I need to run McAfee Firewall and/or virus scan for all user!

I recently setup our family computer [using XP Home SP2] with an Admin and a
Family User account [for the kids]. I am running McAfee virus scan and
firewall and update it frequently for the Admin user account; however, when
logged on as the Family account I get a message saying that I do not have
permission to install new McAfee upgrades.

Do I need to run McAfee in the Family acct?

If not, do I delete the McAfee from the Family acct?

That just means that you need to logon as an administrator account to
install the upgrades. The McAfee program however will protect the computer
best that it can no matter what user account is currently logged on. ---

....and you cannot remove McAfee from your Family's account since it is
limited one .
Also , there is no need of removing McAfee because you'll leave your PC
unprotected.
