do I need to restore sysvol??????

I have a single DC
I have corrupted my Domain Administrator rights and think I need to restore
the AD from backup. Is this info stored in sysvol?

What specific file (please say path) can be restored (from tape) to cause
minimum impact?
Is it c:\Winnt\SYSVOL\Sysvol\domain.ccom\policies\??

Your AD info is Backed up & Restored with the System State on a DC.
If you have not backed up the System State then you will not be able to
restore your AD.
If you have a Backup of the System State then do a Restore from it.
A backup or Restore of the Sysvol wont do it, Sorry.
