Do I need a tunnel with Terminal Services over the Internet?

Hi All,

I see customers all the time using TS over the Internet.
How secure is this? Is it better to use a tunnel or is TS
secure enough as it is?

Many thanks,

While the data and connection is encrypted, it's best to tunnel as
older versions could be monitored, hijacked, and replayed. Network
Level Authentication was the solution to this and was added to
Vista/2008 and newer (Requires Terminal Services Client v6.x or
newer).
