DNS without round robin turned on.

If I have 2 duplicate HOST records, but round robin is not on, how does DNS
handle it?

Does it only use 1 of the 2 entries, and if so which one?

-thanks,
Rob

There is no real way of knowing or controlling which record gets published,
as close as you can get is with Netmask ordering. Then DNS will publish the
record with the closest subnet match of the requesting client. But it only
works effectively if the client is local. Look up "Prioritizing local
subnets" in help.
