DNS & UNIX

Bob

I am running a Win 2000 advanced server network with static IP addresses and
DNS.
We also have a UNIX server with a static IP running a financial application.
I entered the Unix server name and IP in the DNS table.
I can ping the UNIX server from all network workstation by IP address.
I can only ping the UNIX server by its DNS name from Domain member
workstations.
I need to be able to ping the UNIX server by its DNS name from non domain
members such as Win 98 and ME workstations.
Any suggestions for doing this?

Yes, just point the Win98 and ME machines to the Win 2000 DNS only.
