DNS TCPIP

Hi Guys

I am having the following problem with a PC.

The machines was working fine, but today it has decided that it will not
connect to the Domain and Will not connect to the internet even if I give it
a direct route to the firewall and to an external DNS server which normaly
works fine.

The Service that arnt starting are

Net Logon

IPSEC Policy Agent

The Event Log shows the following Errors

Event ID: 7024

Description: The NetLogon Service terminated with service-specific error
5737

Event ID:5737

Description:The system returned the following unexpected error code: The
requested servie provider could not be loaded or initialized.

Event ID:3034

Description:The redirector was unable to initialize security contect or
query context attributes.

I can ping the Server with its name so the DNS server is doing something,
but the event log tells me it cannot find the domain server. I just can't
work out what to do to get this working again, any ideas?

Thanks Mike.

Was something changed or altered or installed on this PC, such as an app, a
firewall, a service pack, a device or card? Most of those errors are to
general, especially the 3034. But the 5737 points to what I'm referring
about a 'change'. Read this...
http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=5737&eventno=1482&source=Netlogon&phase=1
http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=3034&eventno=326&source=MRxSmb&phase=1

A quick story... A friend of mine was frustrated over all his adware on his
machine. It had SP1 on it. He then reinstalled XP on it, but something went
amiss. Now he can't connect to anything. Apparently his TCPIP versions are
different. I uninistalled TCPIP then reinstalled it and now it works fine.
So that is why I'm asking if there were any 'changes' on the machine.
