DNS Suffix

I just encountered a windows 2000 server with no domain suffix defined. It's
just domain not something like domain.com or domain. Local
Is their some way to add this without reinstalling 2000

Is this Win 2000 Server a DC or simply a member serverin AD?

Please post result of
ipconfig /all

In the meantime, review System > Properties > Change for the primary suffic
field and let us know as well.
