DNS Query.

Dear friends
I have two DNS Servers in my windows 2000 Domain with
one as a primary DNS Server as Active Directory
Integrated..i Have my network behind a cisco pix hardware
firewall.My Primary DNS Server for my Internal Network is
configured as a forwarder to my External DNS Server which
is Handled by ISP.When i test my Primary DNS Server
through Monitoring Tab for Simple Query and Recursive
Query.It is connecting to external DNS Server.Same test i
try to Perform on my Backup Domain Controller DNS It is
failing.i have enabled forwaders on my Backup domain
Controller DNS Server with the IP Address of My External
DNS Server and i have given the Gateway as my Firewall IP
Address.
i need your help.

Does your PIX have a rule to allow the other DNS server access ?
IT seems like it's blocking the forwarding response from the external DNS,
which causes that test to fail.
