DNS Published IP

Hi all
I am running a SBS 2000 box that has an internal and
external IP address range (2 NICs) This server is also a
DNS server which servers for internal and external requests
I changed the regisrty as advised by a microsoft KB to
Publish only the Public IP and not the actual IP address
of the NIC (which is internal) This all works fine but
when i Nslookup my domain name , I get two IP addresses,
One is the correct External, The other is the correct
internal, However only the external one should be listed
Any ideas anyone
TIA

What article did you follow and what record are you publishing?
The LdapIpAddress?

That would be coming from the reverse zone. Did you delete the address you
don;t want?

Curious, why would you want just the external record showing up? Is this
server hosting public content or is it just for your internal network?
Assuming for internal only, since it's SBS and assuming you installed AD on
it. Otherwise, not recommended to expose your private domain data in public.
Rather have a separate server just for that.
