DNS Problems

I've looked at many of the posts looking for an answer: New XP Pro SP2 Build
from Pre-Install Kit with no 3rd party software installed except Office 2003.
PC is connected via router to cable modem. It gets DHCP from router and CAN
browse LAN and other PC's.

I checked Winsock & LSP - they're OK.

It cannot open a web page without first doing an ipconfig /flushdns. It then
works fine. After a reboot. it no longer works. I have tried different NIC's,
enabled/disabled Windows firewall - nothing makes a difference. This is very
frustrating as I need to deliver 6 of these computers to a client soon. I
can't expect them to repair the connection!

Any help is great!

P.S. I've also done "netsh int ip reset" with no luck
