DNS on workgroup

Alan

I just started a new project and we have three DCs and two
DNS servers. However, the two DNs servers are on workgroup
envirnment. I am wondering if that's a good idea or should
we move it into our domain environment.
The reason is that becouse, I am seeing error messages
within Domain controllers under File Replication Services
as " event id 13508".

AD integrated DNS has many advantages over normal primary\secondary DNS so
moving over would be a good idea if you can. Unless you are using DFS or
another application that utilises FRS you can ignore any FRS errors on
workgroup servers as you will probably not be using it.
FRS errors in the event log are not a good reason in themselves to move your
DNS servers but there are enough other reasons to do so.
