DNS not serving external with ISA

D

Doug

I just re-installed SBS only this time I also installed
ISA. I configured DNS the same as I usually do, on the
Server|Properties|Interfaces tab to
Listen on:
Only the folloing IP addresses:
192.168.0.1 internal
999.999.999 external (a valid internet address)

I can't get the DNS to respond on the external address.

Is there anything special I need to do in ISA to permit
the DNS traffic to come and go?

Thanks,
Doug

This is an ISA question. You need to configure an allow rule for DNS traffic
for that interface. Check with the ISA newsgroup for specific how-to's or
www.isaserver.org.
