Hi all,

had a problem whereby none of our users can browse the internet as the dns
entry for ServerX in our network was showing the IP of the dial-up
connection 202.110.xxx.xxx Anyone know what could have caused this ? To
resolve the problem the first time, I deleted the entry in Forward Lookups
for ServerX (That showed the wrong IP).

when this problem returned I changed the IP to the correct IP.

Both fixed the probs.

Any ideas ?

The dns of all the machines including the server should point to the server
ip.
you should enter the ips of your isp's dns into the dns forwarder settings
on the server
