Hi All,

I have configured DNS server on domain controller, and on domain controller
direct internet connection is available. In such case I think I should be
able to configure DNS server as forwarder in case this DNS server not able
to resolve client query. But on my dns server that forwarder option is grey
out. I have not configured this dns server as a root server.

Kindly assist.

You really should have 2-DCs, 2-DNS, and 2-GCs if possible.

That works. Forward to your ISP or Gateway/Firewall DNS Server.

You must have a "." domain -- delete the Dot domain and the forwarders
will enable.
