DNS Error

abusanic

The following is the error message I received in the DNS
event log

Event ID 4015

The DNS server has encountered a critical error from the
Active Directory. Check that the Active Directory is
functioning properly. The extended error debug
information (which may be empty) is "". The event data
contains the error.

Any help will greatly be appreciate.

The error code within the event can make a difference and didn't see it
here, but look at the following;
267855 Problems with Many Domain Controllers with Active Directory
Integrated
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=267855

not sure if that KB applies in your situation, but for example found one
case where the error they got was error 22;
0x22 = The distinguished name has an invalid syntax.

In their case Apple computers were registering names with spaces in DNS
which it didn't like.
hope that helps
