I have a client on my windows 2000 active directory network. Everyday, at
some point in the day, he is unable to get to a certain website. All other
websites work for him. The website he is having problems with works for
everybody else.

When I go into his control panel / Services, and I restart the dns client on
his machine, everything works perfectly again.

Does anybody have any idea what could cause this or how to troubleshoot
this? His machine is running win2k professional SP2.

Some quick ideas.

1.) Upgrade him to SP4 on Win2k.
2.) Is the client DHCP? If so, check for duplicates.
3.) Make the client a static IP.
4.) Check DNS logs, if logging is enabled.
5.) Maybe he has IE content filtering for that website.

Please post back you findings. Thanks.
