DNS and NT 4.0 Clients

I have implemented AD with DNS and none of my NT 4.0 Clients are registering with my DNS server. I'm pretty new to DNS and am not sure how exactly the clients need to be configured to make sure they register... I'm having little problems here and there since this more to AD with DNS and am hoping if I get these DNS problems fixed most will go away

NT4 is not aware of Win2k DNS. You can use DHCP to have it update DNS for
downlevel clients.

Scott is right in that legacy clients like Windows NT and Windows 9x cannot
dynamically register themselves in DNS. Here's an article that talks about
enabling DHCP to register DNS records on their behalf:
