DMI Pool Hangups

I've got an Shuttle SV25 (FV25 Motherboard) and am now experiencing bootup
problems at DMI Pool Update (computer just hangs). I'm quite sure its not
the HD as it has the same problem booting off CD-ROM. I can get the
computer to boot after several reboots. I've heard of problems with
capacitors on the MB and wondering if I have the same issue.

Same thing happens to my 5 year old Epox driven system about once per
25-30 power ups. It just recently started this trend. I power down, and
it boots fine next try. I just scratch my head and continue (for now.)
