DMAX

I posted a question to the wrong group. I do have a
problem with DMAX, it is posted in Reports & Printing. If
someone would be kind enough to look at it there and
help. I apologize for the inconvenience in advance.

Is it any less convenient for a reader in this newsgroup to go to the
Reports group, than it would have been for you to just paste that
message into this one so that we wouldn't need to go there?
Especially as there may be several different DMAX subjects at any one
day.
Think about it.

Here I was apologizing for a mistake and you showed your
ignorance. I did think about it, and remembered how
another "poster" was "chewed out" because he made a
mistake and posted identical items on two boards and was
informed that he should just apologize and refer others to
the original message board. I apologize for even thinking
that I was doing something correctly and out of courtesy.
I won't post to nor read from this newsgroup again. Thank
you for your enlightenment.

Interesting that both this and David's post were from a Block Reserved for
"special purposes" by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority, and only one
number apart in the low order digit of the IP.

If "David" wasn't trolling, he was certainly misled in thinking that anyone
owed it to him to open another newsgroup and search for a post on incomplete
information. It is almost as if he assumed that someone _owed_ him an
answer, isn't it?

David and BJ both need to read and heed the FAQ at
http://www.mvps.org/access/netiquette.htm for good suggestions on effective
use of newsgroups.
