I cant send email using Outlook 2002. Yesterday morning everything was
working, but yesterday evening i couldnt send mail.
I checked the server by using webmail and the server is working fine.
So, i thought i would reinstall Outlook, but now i get a message saying
"Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. The .DLL file for information services
could not be found.MAPI was unable to load the information services
PSTPRX.DLL.
Can someone help me out with this? Thanks for the help.

See if creating a new profile helps also make sure that you are on the
latest SP as I believe this may have been fixed

I installed the Office SP 3 and i had to re-install Outlook and I can send
and recieve mail now.
However I have two new issues.
How can I get it to quit asking which profile to use when i open outlook? I
would like it to go to my profile and I did set it as default, but it keeps
asking.
What is the name of the address file and where might it be found? All my
folders are in my profile but i lost my address book.
Thanks for any help....tom

There's a radio button in the Show Profiles General tab of the Mail applet
in Control Panel that indicates a profile should always be used and a
dropdown that allows you to choose which profile that is.

The "address file" is just a view of your Contacts folders. Right-click
Contacts and, on the "Outlook Address Book" tab, check the box labeled "Show
this folder as an e-mail Address Book". If that box is inactive, click
Tools>E-mail Accounts>Add a new directory or address book>Next. Select
Additonal Address Books and click Next. Select the Outlook Address Book
service and click Next, then Finish. You'll now be able to go back and
check the box I mentioned above on the Outlook Address Book tab.

Thanks for the help. I was able to get Outlook to use my profile when I open
it up, that worked great.
However I still can't get it to open my email addresses. I done as you said
and was able to check the box that says "Show this folder as an e-mail
Address Book".
However when i try to open the address book i get a pop up message that
says.."The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder
associated with this address list could not be opened: it may have been
moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information on how to
remove this folder from the outlook Address Book, see Microsoft Help."

I dont know why I would not have permissions, I havnt changed anything.
All my folders and emails show up, my contacts show up also, just not as an
email address book . Thanks very much for your help. Tom

Reemove the Outlook Address Book service from your profile, stop and restart
Outlook, then add it back in again. It should correct the problem.
