Do all of my .dll files belong in the Windows/System directory? If I have .dll files that aren't in that directory, should I put them there? The reason I ask is because certain programs don't run on my computer, and I'm guessing that my computer isn't seeing certain .dll files that are required to run those applications. Help, please!!

No, not all .dll's should be in Win/System or Win/System32 any more. The
preferred location now for program unique .dll's is in the program's own
folder.
