DLL file missing

I am getting the message that my winupd.dll file cannot be found. I recently
had Bloodhound and Trojan Horse problems which are now in quarantine. Did
that affect my dll file and if so, how do I get it back?

winupd.dll is not a WindowsXP nor a System32 file. You've probably got
spyware/malware on your PC.

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type:

SFC /SCANNOW
