I have a program (Folder) on my Start/Programs/DLA

It has DLA Help
It also has Readme.Txt

What the heck is this... and Can I delete this? Them?

Also at work I can do a Shift+PrntScreen and it copies the screen - At home
it doesn't do anything! How do I make my home computer do this?

Thanks...

Ron...

Why don't you see what they are. You have the Help and the readme.

Try a new keyboard.

Obviously you appear to have a big head - I am wondering if you require any
help holding it up...

The reason I am asking - Is because I don't have a MVPS next to my name....
If I did.. I would
ask why you still have it next to yours.......

I have read it... I am not a techie?

Thanks for all your help....Bart has a nickname for you...

So, why don't you post the contents of the DLA readme here so we may look at
it? You refer to a will-of-the-wisp, until you do so.

you're not expected to be an MVP, but at least learn to make a decent
post. Does the readme and/or help file contain anything in it's
contents that may be a clue as to it's origin?

I would think that generally, if all it contains is readme and help
file (chm?) it's probably safe to delete.

PS I have a DLA folder on my system, that appears to be related to
an install of stomp Recordmax now! cd burning software.

Open those files and tell us what you see [Program Name or such]. I have
never heard of using The "Shift" and "PrtScn" keys in combination to
acomplish any sort of Screen Capture. To capture the entire screen, press
the "PrtScn" key only. To capture the active window on the screen ONLY,
press the "Alt" and "PrtScn" keys in combination.

I hope some of the other posters will apologize.

DLA is "Drive Letter Access".

It is a way that you can format your CD-R or CD-RW and write to it
like a floppy.

On my computer, it is associated with HP RecordNow, or (I suppose) with full
RecordNow.

Hope that helps.

If I may add to the above, do NOT delete it!

You're not capable of reading the files and finding out what YOU put on YOUR computer

You are really lame.

Good god! You answered a question without a bunch of sass! Good for you.

I might just add, you're right, and DLA also works for DVD-RW.

DLA is one of the packages that allows you to do true 'Drag and Drop'
burning of CDs, using 'packet writing'. See more at
http://aumha.org/win5/a/xpcd.htm.

If you do not want it (and it is one of the best of such packages)
uninstall it *properly* through its entry in Add/Remove programs - don't
go trying to delete bits of it piecemeal or you will be generating
trouble

Thank You very much - I have never used these groups before... But I am told
some people are helpful....

I appreciate it...

Drive Letter Access.

Part of a CD/DVD-RW app that supports packet writing.
