Divide by 1000

I have a spreadsheet that I need to change all the values. The values need
to be divided by 1000 (ie, 25700 should show as 25.7) . Does anyone know an
easy way for me to accomplish this?

put 1000 in an empty cell, copy it, select the cells in question,
do edit>paste special and select divide

try the following:
- enter 1000 in any empty cell and copy this cell
- select the cells which you want to change
- goto< 'Edit - Paste Special' and choose 'Divide'
