Dit.exe problem

I have two machines running XP Home SP2. One has Dit.exe on it (not sure how
it got there) the other has not. The one that has throws an error every
time any usb memory device is plugged into it. It puts up the dialog box
saying Dit.exe as encounted a problem and needs to close - do you want to
report this to MS etc. On clicking out of the dialog box the drive has been
recognised by the machine and works fine.

Any help would be appreciated to stop this error, whatever it is, from
occurring.

graham.

Its a file / utility usually installed by cardreader software, can also be
spyware/virus

As well as the answer from DL it can be installed along with the software
for multi-function printing machines so if you have one of those that
would be were it came from.
