Hi

I would like to send an email to a distribution list, so that the
individuals in the list do not see other people in the list, and the name of
the distribution list is displayed in the 'To' field when received by the end
user. I'm aware of mail merge and send personally, but using these options
displays the individuals name in the 'To' field. It must be possible because
i have received such a mail in the format below from a fellow Outlook user...
unfortunately they do not know how this is done?!

From: Aaaaaa Bbbbbb [mailto:[email protected]]
Sent: 18 October 2006 13:47
To: (e-mail address removed); Subject: Labeling

thanks

One way to get around this would be to address the actual e-mail to yourself,
and then put the distribution list itself in the 'bcc' box - therefore nobody
else knows who has received the mail.

Hello,

You can send personalized mail merges using add-ins for Outlook that are
specially designed for this purpose. The example you mentioned was created
with an add-in like Easy Mail Merge. I don't know if it was this
particularly add-in. If you wish to try this add-in you can find it at this
link: http://www.emailaddressmanager.com/mail_merge.html
